" Truthfulness"

Truthfulness is an ongoing commitment to live by what is real, authentic and true for us.
We make realistic decisions.
We do not lie, cheat or deceive.
We tell the truth kindly.
Our words and actions are trustworthy.
We do not allow others to have undue influence on our perceptions.
We investigate the truth with our own eyes.

We practise truthfulness when we:
speak only the truth
have no need to impress or deceive others
use discernment to make good decisions
tell the truth with kindness and tact
investigate the truth for ourselves

This weeks recipients are:

This weeks class is:

The Nest

Congratulations!

"I will never forget you. I will always love you."
Our reading focus on God's constant care for us. The first reading tells us that God is like a mother who will always care for her child.
The Gospel tells us that God is the creator of all and will care for all. When we trust that God, like the mother in the first reading, will take care of us, we are not filled with anxiety or worry.
God of all tenderness, all you want is for us to be truly happy and to enjoy your good gifts. In trust and confidence, we put ourselves into
your hands, knowing that you will guard and protect us, forever and ever..

The Nest are "Cooking up a Storm"

Swimming Carnival
Next week on Tuesday, March 1 we will be holding our swimming carnival here at our school pool. The seniors will go from 10-11am and after play the juniors will have their turn from 11.30-12.30pm.
We invite parent/caregivers to come along to see the progress your child has made over the swimming season and to join in the fun.

Absenteeism
A reminder that is it essential for every parent/caregiver to notify the office before 9.30am if your child is absent for any reason. Failure to do so means they get marked as truant on the electronic register.
Ringing in is also a safety check as parents and school both know where your child is.

The Bright Sparks web site on the ‘Learn to Spell a Word’ hand out given at the conferences last week is incorrect. The replacement web site is:
