Dear Parents / Caregivers
Nga mihi nui ki a koutou

Thank you parents/caregivers for coming along to your child’s mid year conference last week. Research tells us that children are more likely to succeed in their education and in their future, when they, their teacher and their families work as a team to support their learning. Your child should have brought home their written conference reports yesterday. Please ask for them if you have not received them.

Enjoy your week,      Jacinta Cousins ,   Principal

" Kindness "

Kindness is showing you care, doing some good to make life better for others.
It is being thoughtful about people’s needs.
Kindness is showing love and compassion to someone who is sad or needs your help.
Kindness is treating yourself and others gently.
It is caring about the earth and all living things.

We practise Kindness when we:
give tender attention to someone who is sad or needs help
do things to give others happiness
accept people who are different
resist the temptation to be cruel

This weeks recipients are:

Congratulations!

Today I was setting up the church. I went into the quiet sanctuary to pray for the people in war. Then I went to the King. King Kyle that is. I told him to be a more loving King.

Phone lists and order forms are coming home this week for those of you who kindly volunteered to ring for fertiliser orders.
We also will send home the pamphlets for the letter box deliveries. Thank you for offering to help with this one of our major fundraisers each year.
We still haven’t got nearly enough people to help deliver fertiliser on August 14. Even one trailer or truck load would be great. You don’t even need a car or trailer - we just need YOU!!!
