"
Obedience "
The
purpose of obedience
is to guide and protect us. Obedience
begins by doing what you are asked to do by
your family, your teachers, your country and
your faith.
When you are obedient
you abide by the rules.
You obey
the rules even when no-one is watching.
To be obedient
is to be trustworthy.
We
practise Obedience
when we: abide
by the rules even when no-one is looking keep
our agreements without having to be reminded. question
authority respectfully accept
the consequences if we do break a rule and
then get a fresh start.

Schools' Day

Day. To celebrate this special day we will be joining
all the other Catholic schools in the Manawatu region
for a mass at Arena 3. We will be walking to the
venue. .
Inquiry
Expo
On Friday afternoon on June 11 we are inviting parents/caregivers
to each class to find out all about the exciting
work children have been doing for their ‘World
of Wonderful Words” inquiry. This is a great
opportunity for you to share in your child’s
learning. We hope you can make the time to come
along as a lot of work has gone into preparing the
children for this event.
Preschool
Facility
For your safety, we advise caution if you are using
the shortcut past the parish house from Pioneer
Highway into the school, as building on a new preschool
facility has begun.
Scholastic
Book Club
Closes on 19th May 9a.m (tomorrow)
School
Cross Country This Thursday, May
20, starting at 1pm we are holding our annual school
cross country down at Rangitane Park which is off
Maxwells Line and we hope to see you all there in
support if your child. Children must be wearing
their school PE uniform for this event. Shoes are
optional. They will need their jersey for warmth
as well as their water bottle and an extra snack
or two. The children will be bussed to and from
the venue. All children must stay until
all races have been completed as this is a whole
school event and refusal to take your child home
early may offend.
The first race will be Year 6 students, the last
race Year 4. You may take your child home from the
park at the end of the afternoon as long as you
inform the teacher first please.
