Dear Parents / Caregivers
Nga mihi nui ki a koutou

It was wonderful to see all the children run so positively in their cross country on Friday. I’m sure you were as proud of them as we all were. Thank you parents and grandparents for coming along in support of your children.

Enjoy your week,      Jacinta Cousins ,   Principal

" Honour -Honore "

Honour is living with a sense of respect for what you believe is right.
It is living by the virtues, showing great respect for yourself, other people , and the rules you live by.
When you are honourable, you set a good example..

We practise being honourable when we:
practice our virtues
keep our word
respect the rules we want to live by
do what we believe is right no matter what
set a good example for others
avoid doing things which make us feel ashamed

The focus this weekend's Gospel reminds us of the gift of eternal life made possible by the death and resurrection of Jesus. Jesus said a special prayer. "Father, the time is now here. Glorify me so that you will be glorified, too. You have given me power to give eternal life to everyone. And this is what eternal life is: to know you, the only true God; and to know Jesus Christ, the one you sent. I did everything
you sent me on earth to do. I told the people about you. And now they know that I came from you and that you sent me. And so I pray for them because they are yours, and they are mine."
